A CN train approaches Harrison St. as it heads south via former SOO rails at Town of Oshkosh, Winnebago Co., WI, on 15 Oct. '22. The former C&NW right-of-way runs parallel to these tracks just out-of-frame to the right. The CN main line transitions from the former SOO to the former C&NW right-of-way at Harrison St. There used to be a diamond under the lead locomotive, where a C&NW branch left their main line, crossed the SOO, and headed west. This is where Tower CF once stood. I was standing on Harrison St., in the City of Oshkosh, but the train is traversing an isolated, pitiful scrap of the Town of Oshkosh. |
