Altoona Action. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide (converted to B&W) that was taken in East Altoona, Pennsylvania, c. 1966. The photographer is not identified. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8731, a BS-24M transfer locomotive built by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton in December of 1952 and retired in October of 1967 after just 15 years of service.
