| Originally built by ALCo-Richmond in March of 1913, Illinois Central #1124 (serial #53206) worked until a rebuild and renumbering to IC #2065 in March of 1942. The loco was later sold to Tennessee Central in March of 1945 where it lasted until it disappeared off the roster in January of 1953. Origihnal specs - 75" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 25x26" cylinders, engine weight of 247,500 lb, tractive effort of 33,150 lb. R.H. Carlson photo |
