We move to the other end to grab some shots of the passenger car. Brakeman Kyle Steinke was generous enough to give Noah, Ethan, and I a grand tour of the inside of the car. I am floored at how well it has come along. It is immaculate from top to bottom on both the inside and out. The car will remain on the Little River Railroad for the near future and will be rented out to private VIPs when the Little River Railroad runs or INER runs their own business excursions. The next project for the car is to be installed with a fully operational kitchen. After our tour I Noah and I said our goodbyes to Ethan as he took off back north to college in Kzoo while Noah and I booked south to catch CP 234 on the Chicago Line, which had both CP 8781, the Hapag-Lloyd Specialty Unit, and CP 7015, one of 5 block lettered heritage units, on the front. |
