PRR 965, D-16B, c. 1905         
WB. Here is a 35mm slide of a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken at Perth Amboy Junction near Rahway, New Jersey, c. 1911. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #965, a D-16B (4-4-0) "American" built in Juniata during 1904, later rebuilt as a D-16SB, and retired in April of 1936 after 32 years of faithful service. Pictured at the left is Conductor L.M. Hampton. The names of the other crew members and the date are not recorded. (Not Burket Collection.)
