The "long legged" UP 4-10-2 #8807 was built by Alco-Brooks in May of 1926 (serial #66733, class FTT-2. Although not particularly successful as a 3 cylinder variant, the loco was rebuilt by the UP shops. They removed the center cylinder and dropped the boiler pressure to 200 psi in the overhaul done in Jamuary of 1943. It was renumbered UP 5099. Both versions (labeled "Overland" by the UP) were used primarily in the LA&SL system. The rebuilt loco lasted until being scrapped in March of 1954 at Pocatello, ID.
