"Keep Hoppers Moving," Page 2, 1956         
Here is page two of a three-page article entitled "Urgent Job For PRR Men: 'Keep Hoppers Moving.'" It was published originally in the May 1956 issue of "Pennsy" magazine, page 2. Bottom Photo Caption: "Local freight crew out of Cresson, Pa., keeps hoppers moving promptly to and from coal mines: J.H. Bender, R.A. Miller, I.S. Hartman, plus A.M. and R.J. Eckenrode." Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8811, an FS-16M built by Fairbanks-Morse in April of 1952, rated at 1,600 horsepower, and retired in September of 1967 after just 15 years of revenue service.
