Byerly. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Fred Byerly. Shown here (R to L) is Penn Central Railroad engine #4444 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both are E44 (C-C) electrics built by General Electric for the Pennsylvania Railroad and rated at 4,400 horsepower each. #4444 was constructed in September of 1962. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded.
