CR 8673 - 8686 over top of the REA building
Two EMD SW8 pup's had just crossed the bridge over the Delaware River, and go over the Railway Express Agency at the Easton Pa. station.

Oldschool, totally awesome. That's NS's Lehigh Line today, still sees 25-30 freights daily, but nothing that cool! Tower is gone now, and the REA lettering is much more washed out...

These are both ex-LV SW8s and both survive today. CR 8673 was LV 259, is now ITI 2 (Waste Management) at Jessup, MD. CR 8686 was LV 272, is now GLSX (Cargill Salt) 8686 at Lansing, NY.

The people around the Easton Pa., area.., call this "Valley" station. As it was the old LVRR's Passenger station.
