L&N 4-6-2 245
Here was a view of Poydras Street from the Louisville & Nashville tracks along the Mississippi River in New Orleans. Locomotive 245 was on its way from the L&N station at the foot of Canal Street, where the passengers got off, to Julia Street Yard, where the train would be turned and serviced. The Pacific Fruit Express refrigerator car peeking out on the left was on a Southern Pacific track.
