Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6715, an M-1A built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an M-1A during April of 1930, rebuilt in Juniata as an M-1B by 1953, and retired in September of 1959 after 29 years of faithful service. It's passing the Huntingdon Icing Plant with a mineral train out of Altoona bound for East Coast markets. (Gift from Brad Mann.) |
