It's a rare catch when one views CSX stacktrain Q190 shoving east off the connection to the NS Morrisville Line. Abrams Yard congestion forced main line dispatch to have the conductor board the rear car at CP Norris and direct the engineer through the signals here to CP King where the train will soon halt on the main. Next, the engineer will cut the power and apply the rear marker to what will be the last car, then move west back here light to these signals. The engineer will then move to the cab of 5243 and when the signal is displayed, move east onto the controlled siding to CP Plymouth, then await the signal back onto the main to back against the train and depart east after everything is solid again - about a 45 minute job. |
