Sweetland. Here is the first of three duplicate 35mm color slides of photos by David R. Sweetland that were taken in November of 1960 Shown in Tyrone (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9605 and three more "AF" Class units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by the American Locomotive Company. #9605 is an AF-15 built in March of 1950, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and retired in May of 1965 after just 15 years of revenue service. |
