R.J. Corman 3804 peaks its nose out of the shop at Guthrie on a dreary March Saturday. This shop is the second one in Guthrie. The original Guthrie shop was destroyed by fire in October, 2014 (also destroying several locomotives). This smaller shop was built to house the power for the Guthrie-Clarksville, TN leg of the railroad. A larger shop was constructed about twenty miles north of Guthrie at Russellville, KY and has assumed most of the Memphis Line repair duties. |
