In the foreground is work related to Southwest LRT and a new freight rail connection to the MNS Spur which will allow the Twin Cities and Western easier access to their route to Savage. In the right center is the old Milwaukee Road connecting track into this area of "the Park" known as Skunk Hollow. Alas, SWLRT is going to witness the lifting of this track, but the new freight connection is going to bring trains back to the Savage swing bridge. |
