| Here is one of the earlier K-4s 4-6-2 Pacifics built by the PRR Juniata Shops in June of 1918 and one that outlasted many later K-4s Pacifics. This loco (serial #3490) put in nearly 38 years of mostly passenger service on the Pennsy before retirement and scrapping in October of 1956 near the end of steam on the PRR. J.R. Quinn photo |
