| Good looking Alco-Schenectady 4-6-2 Pacific type built for the Northern Pacific in 1923 as a class Q-6 member (serial #64343). According to www.steamlocomotives.com webiste, this loco was converted to an oil burner. Doesn't appear to have the typical tender for such though. Eventuall it was scrapped at the South Tacoma, WA, shops at an unidentified date later in the 1950's. No photographer listed for this photo. |
