Wallin. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Richard R. Wallin that was taken in Crestline, Ohio, in August of 1962. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9585 and #9593. Both are BF-15's built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9585 was built in May of 1949, while #9593 was built in July of 1949; both were retired in June of 1964 after just 15 years of revenue service. |
