Harley. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Tom Harley that was taken in Englewood, Illinois, in November of 1946. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6939, an M-1 (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during November of 1926 and retired in May of 1957 after 31 years of faithful service. In this context, it's passing by the Englewood Passenger Station with an eastbound mixed-cargo freight train.
