| Here was a view looking south along Justin Cemetery Road at the north end of the Wabtec/GE test track, three miles north of the Fort Worth locomotive assembly plant. On the right was a group of Canadian Pacific AC4400CW units - 9506 in the foreground with 9627, 9593, 9525, 9523,9554, 9539 and 9501 iust beyond - having their traction motor/axle combos removed by a CP crew with the help of Hulcher Services from nearby Saginaw, Texas. CP had an urgent need for AC traction motlrs to repair flood-damaged units. |
