| While in full UP paint, records indicate UP 922B is actually a SP unit, being sold to SP in August 1972 as a protection unit for Amtrak's Sunset Limited. At this point UP 922B is out of service and used as a parts source for the other Amtrak E-units being maintained at Taylor shops. |
