| Originally built by the Southern Pacific Shops as SP #2843, it was sold to the San Diego & Arizona Rwy on March 12, 1921. Subsequently the SDA failed, purchased by Southern Paciifc and renamed San Diego & Arizona Eastern. This photo appears to be a steam fan trip sometime in the 1950's as this loco was scrapped on February 6, 1957. No photographer, location or date given for the photo. |
