Here is a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on 23 April 1947. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4804, a GG-1 (2-C-C-2) electric built by General Electric in June of 1935, rated at 4,620 horsepower, and retired in June of 1966 after 31 years of faithful service. Note that both pantographs are in the "down" position. Henry C. Westenberger Collection.
