Kern. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Fred R. Kern that was taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on 31 January 1954. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4759, a P-5A (2-C-2) built by General Electric in July of 1932, rated at 3,750 horsepower, and retired in April of 1963 after 31 years of service.
