Here is page 30 of a 34-page article (in five installments) entitled "Locomotives Of the Pennsylvania." It was published originally in the October 1941 isske of "Railroad" magazine, page 64. Shown here is the PRR's poppet-valve equipped engine #5399, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during August of 1924 and retired in November of 1953 after 29 years of service.
