| A CN local returns to the main line after spotting a boxcar at Luvata (originally Valley Cast, Inc.), 553 Carter Ct., Kimberly, WI, via former C&NW rails at Kimberly, WI on 29 Sep. '17. Valley Cast, Inc. (formerly Valley Cast Wire Co., a division of Appleton Wire), built this facility in Kimberly in 1989 to supplement their facility at 908 N. Lawe St., Appleton, WI (currently known as Luvata Appleton). There used to be sidings on each side of the main line here. As you can see, both sidings were removed about a year or so ago but the turnouts remain. |
