The Oliver Bridge was constructed in 1916 by the Interstate Transfer Railroad Company across the St. Louis River connecting Wisconsin and Minnesota. The top deck of the bridge carries railroad traffic while a lower deck carries automobiles. The bridge is owned by the Canadian National, since it acquired the Duluth, Missabe and Iron Range. |
