It was published originally in the March 1975 issue of "Trains" magazine. Cover Caption: "Close-up of the Howard Fogg painting of the 'Broadway Limited' reproduced on pages 42.43." Depicted here (R to L) are portions of Pennsylvania Railroad engines #5471 and #5352. Both are K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacifics." #5471 was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in March of 1927 and retired in August of 1956, while #5352 was built in Juniata in March of 1924 and retired in February of 1950. |
