| Built by EMD in September of 1976, this unit came with the new baby blue & white paint scheme adopted in 1975. Unfortunately, after Rock Island service, this unit was bounced around - first MP 2253, next UP 2253, renumbered UP 753, then GMTX 2125. Quite a boomer loco! Michael A. Tedesco slide |
