The number in the number box still displayed this locomotive's original identity, but the lettering on the cab showed that this was Fordyce & Princeton 1. This locomotive had been built in June 1950 and it was Alco's very first S3. It was originally Hammond Lumber Co. 101, then Georgia-Pacific 101 in 1956, Oregon Pacific & Eastern 101 in 1959, Feather River 101 in 1965, Fordyce & Princeton 1 in 1967, F&P 662 in 1982, Cadiz 10 in 1985 and Dardanelle & Russellville 19 in 1989. |
