On a dreary April 3rd, the Housatonic Railroad Companys NX-11 works the North Canaan (Connecticut) Yard and transload facility, powered by HRRC #22, an EMD GP7u originally built as a GP7 in 1952 for the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe, it was later purchased by the Bangor & Aroostook, which then became the Montreal, Maine & Atlantic, it was sold to the Housatonic Railroad Company in 2014 and has since remained the main power for NX-11s road and switching operations. |
