Hollidaysburg, #3 of 3, 1867
Old Time PRR. Here is a portion of a photo by Robert A. Bonine that was taken from "Chimney Rocks" above Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, in 1867. This enlargement shows more of the western terminus of the Pennsylvania Canal. The road paralleling the Canal is South Juniata Street, the road to the left is Union Street, the road in the middle is Penn Street, while the road on the right is Clark Street. Northfield is visible in the distance. The Pennsylvania Railroad would eventually occupy the filled-in Canal basin.
