| Old Time PRR. Here is a portion of a photo by Robert A. Bonine that was taken from "Chimney Rocks" above Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, in 1867. This enlargement shows some of the western terminus of the Pennsylvania Canal. The road paralleling the Canal is South Juniata Street, the road to the left is Wayne Street, while the road in the middle is Union Street. The Pennsylvania Railroad would eventually occupy the filled-in Canal basin. |
