Long Live The Santa Fe  Contributor's Pick!
This was quite the surprise; although once that old Leslie horn sounded at the crossing, I knew it would be an old ATSF Dash 9. Here BNSF 678, still in Santa Fe glory, leads a short empty ballast train west on the BNSF Hannibal Sub. Currently rumbling around the curve at Mp. 52 in Old Monroe, Mo. Nice way to end the day.
