Everyday. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad locomotive in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, on 17 July 1961. Shown here is PRR engine #8974, a BS-16M built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1951 and rated at 1,600 horsepower. Its crew is in the process of switching cars at the Juniata River Railroad Bridge, just East of the Hollidaysburg Passenger Station. ("Red Shift" slide converted to Black & White.) |
