MNPWC At the Yard Portal  Contributor's Pick!
This monster train once it settled into North Yard, had one end sticking out on the main on the northern portal, and the head end sticking out on the main on the south end. This would not be a big deal if it was just here for a crew change... but the MNPWC drops off cars and switches a bit in Salt Lake City! Not to mention at the same time on the opposite main was the MWCNP also due to switch a bit in SLC. The switching moves pushed the train even further south down to the North Temple UTA station, and as night fell and we left, it got the signal to pull forward down into Grant Tower to continue its switching moves. These two monster trains probably gave the yard master a headache that night...
