BNSF 5289 - BNSF 5221 lead pair on westbound grain train unit consist at North Bonneville... and, yes, the camera angle is a tad bit wonky, because after standing on the neighboring bridge pier for over an hour waiting on a train, I finally gave up, gathered the family from the local library event, came back for lunch to this spot to show them what Id done all that time (stare at a bridge... although, honestly, I watched osprey, crows, took pictures of flowers - all while waiting for the *frequent* (two to four times an hour!) train traffic that should normally come through here, without so much as a rumble.) That is until returning, setting up lunch only to have this one sneak onto the bridge - so I ran up the slope to this location and just snapped - which is a little sad, considering the hour plus I was a good twenty feet higher up without the odd angle and tree off to the right. Then again, a train *did* show up, so I probably shouldnt complain too loudly). |
