Red Arrow Lines 66 passing the 151 signal on the rails of the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum. This car was built in 1926 by the J.G. Brill Company and served Philadelphia and West Chester and successor, Philadelphia Suburban Transportation Company, for over 40 years. But when PSTC became part of SEPTA in 1970, this was declared to be surplus. That is when the Pennsylvania Trolley Musuem acquired it and a five year restoration began. By 1975 it was back to its 1949 period look, and ready for service. |
