Waters. Here is an original photo that I took of Pennsylvania Railroad property in East Altoona, Pennsylvania, during mid-February of 1966. Shown here in this East-facing view is a variety of deadlined equipment: everything from steam locomotive tenders to broken-down Diesels to decomissioned parlor cars. During the Age of Steam, these very tracks virtually hummed with activity 24/7/365. Now they're just buried by snow drifts. |
