| NS 1607, a high-hood SD40, was engaged in some local or yard work on a humid June day in 1992. The engine is shoving a number of cars into the former N&W yard at Kenova, WV, just east of Catlettsburg, KY and a few miles west of Huntington, WV. Note the lush foliage, so typical of western West Virginia (well, the whole state for that matter!). |
