| Note the slanted cab on C&O's 1308, built by Baldwin in 1949 and on display at a park in Huntington, WV for many years (over 50!) This view shows the cab, the tender,and the stairway used at the time for tours of the cab. I don't recall the exact day in June 1992 but at least getting this photo was worth standing in the rain that day! |
