PRR Westbound Freight, #3 of 3, 1965
Everyday. Here is the third of three successive original telephoto views that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Duncansville, Pennsylvania, during late November of 1965. Shown here are two unidentified GM-EMD "EF" Class units pulling a string of new H-43B 100-ton hopper cars. They are passing WYE Tower on their way up the Allegheny Mountains via the New Portage Branch and the Muleshoe Curve to Gallitzin and points West. (Location of the "Runaway Wreck" of 6 November 1916.)
