| Slope to Works. Here is an original photo that I took of Pennsylvania Railroad trains between SLOPE and WORKS Towers in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 06 June 1965. Shown here is PRR engine #9860, an EFP-15 built by EMD in 1952 and rated at 1,500 horsepower. It is pulling a three-car "extra" freight train, which is about to pass under the 4th Street Bridge. |
