| Yard Power. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad yard locomotive at Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, on 02 August 1960. Shown here is PRR engine #9172, an ES-10 built by EMD in 1948 and rated at 1,000 horsepower. It is "flat humping" a string of freight cars in the Yard. This photo was taken near the Yard Master's Office, at the very eastern end of South Juniata Street. |
