| CSX is unusual among class 1 roads, in that it starts its locomotive numbering with 1. This is the lowest numbered unit I have seen, #9, leading 109 cars of K 277 at South Plainfield as it heads for, among other places, a landfill in the south, as much of the consist is trash containers. |
