A yellow signal keeps the eastbound St. Paul Turn (out of view behind me) from crossing Cedar Lake Parkway until the BNSF dispatcher can clear the crew onto the Wayzata Sub at Cedar Lake Junction. The sign which alerts the crew to how much clearance exists north of the parkway testifies as to how this is the narrowest part of the Cedar Lake-Lake Street "bottleneck." |
