| On display not too far away from the site of its birth, former Great Northern 229 provides some color on an otherwise overcast morning. Constructed in 1953, it later migrated back east to the Green Mountain state to work both the St. Johnsbury & Lamoille County and Montpelier & Barre railroads before coming to its current location. |
