This was the last USRA "heavy mountain type" locomotive in the class delivered by Alco-Richmond to the Chesapeake & Ohio RR Specifics - J-2, 69" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 26x30" cylinders, engine weight of 363,550 lb, tractive effort of 57,948 lb.
