| While I was killing some time before my designated driver duties were needed again, I decided to see if any thing was moving around the area. Just before sunset I wandered over north of rhe A.O. Smith yard in Granite City, Illinois and found a pair of NS motors and an inspection crew checking the lead unit before the storms rolled through the area. After talking to the inspection crew for a little bit, one thing lee to another and I asked if I could try an interesting picture. So here I am standing on the rear platform of the NS 7515 looking ahead at the massive thunderhead brewing to the northwest of Granite City, Illinois. |
