Now for the memory.  Contributor's Pick!
When I was on the EL, we switched Harding Yard in Ontario Ohio. The crew I worked on was a night crew. Our job included switching out the GM Stamping Plant. Every night, we would bring gons of scrap steel, like this one, back to our yard. Track 13 also had a scale available for weighing the scrap. Our conductor, Jim Wiseman, did the actual weighing, we passed signals to the engine crew. Our engine was an RS3, what a blast to hear them wind out for every move we made all night.
